BTR (Broadband Technology Report) – Back office vendor GLDS is using Calix’ (NYSE:CALX) AXOS common service data models and open APIs to achieve “integrate once, deploy often” OSS/BSS integration. The system is intended to support any PON and any PHY.

AXOS Sandbox, a virtualized AXOS system software implementation, is intended to enable virtual instances of production Calix system software, allowing partners like GLDS to create a subscriber-driven virtual network to test the broadband experience without traditional physical system deployment testing. AXOS Sandbox exercises not only the management plane of the AXOS systems, but also the data plane and control plane.
